Visayas - still the heart of the Archipelago <3

Traditionally, if you will just consider the 3 geographic divisions (Luzon-Visayas-Mindanao) of the Philippines, you will easily declare that Visayas is the center of the archipelago. However, in the year 1911, it was officially declared that the center of the Philippines is Marinduque, located in the Southwestern Tagalog Region or MIMAROPA (Mindoro-Marinduque-Romblon-Palawan).
Nevertheless, most unforgettable activities happen in Visayas because of the prominent beauties in the different islands of the region.

Planning to explore the whole of the Visayan region will take at least one month, since basically there are about 89 small islands comprising this area on top of the 13 major sections of the six big Visayan islands (Samar, Leyte, Bohol, Cebu, Negros and Panay). The map shows that it is divided into 3 major sections: Western, Central and Eastern Visayas (see color segregation). Each sections should have at least two provinces that are interesting and unique in their own way.
